The Safari and Other Things

My morning started off by Bella jumping all over me. She loves to wake people. She is my alarm clock. Next Jamie took Bella and I to the dog park. She played around for a few minutes. Then we came back to the apartment, had breakfast and a Tim-Tam Slam. You eat opposite sides off of a Tim-Tam chocolate bar. Then you put it in a liquid and suck up as much as possible until you get liquid in your mouth. Then once you get a sip of your drink in your mouth you gobble up the Tim-Tam Slam. It will work much better if you use hot drinks. The Tim-Tam Slam is from Australia. After that we dropped Jamie off at work and hit the road. Nana and I were going on a Safari. About halfway we had to have a bathroom break. We stopped at Cabela’s. They had animals on display that had been killed and stuffed. They had Polar Bears, Mountain Goats, Mountain Lions, etc... Just as we were pulling into the Safari I fell asleep. And Nana had to keep on waking me up. We saw many animals such as Mountain Goats, Deer, Rhinos, Giraffes, Ostriches, Zebras, and lots of others. One zebra came up to me and waited a minute and bit me on the shoulder. It hurt. Nana threw two food pellets at a Zebra. One went up it’s nose. I fed a few goats. They tried to eat my food bag. One tore the bag. I think it might have been a baby goat. It ate my hair and shirt. (It tried to at least.) On the way out I turned on a mini fan and it tangled my hair up. We ate at a German restaurant called Omas Haus. I had German Nachos and it made my stomach sick but they were the best nachos I have ever eaten. We were playing a I Spy game with the ABC’s. One of my last letters was X. I looked around for at least 10 minutes trying to find something that started with X and just when I was about to give up a Xerox truck passed us. We went with Jamie to another dog park and went swimming. Bella is not much of a swimmer. She played with some other dogs too. We had dinner at Mighty Cone. It’s a trailer where they serve food. We also went to the “Hey Cupcake”. It was also a trailer type thing. Today has been so much fun. I will write again later.
