Meeting the Pilots

On the plane ride home I met the pilots who were flying the plane. The pilots name was Patrick and the co-pilots name was Heather. They told me all about the buttons and what the screens meant. They also asked me if I wanted to say hi to Nana on the speaker but I said no because I would be embarrassed. And that was the last thing I did on my trip to Austin, Texas.

Rhyming Names

Jamie had a job of dog sitting and the dog's name was Savannah. It was funny because we had Nana, Hannah and Savannah. Jamie wanted a picture of us and we looked for a banana too but all we found was a bandana.

Flying Home

We got up early this morning and Jamie took me and Nana to the airport. Bella went too. We said goodbye and then we got on the plane and flew to Charlotte then another plane to Asheville. I had a fun time with Nana and visiting Jamie and Bella. I hope I can go back another time to visit them.

New Puppy

When I talked to my Mom last night on the phone she told me we got a new puppy. She sent us a picture of it so I could see it. It is a boy German Shepherd puppy. Now we have to give him a name.

Pool and Ball Catching Trick Video

I loved running and jumping in the pool and trying to catch the ball. Sometimes I missed but a lot of times I caught it and it was so much fun.

Pool Tricks Video

Playing in the pool was a lot of fun. I loved doing tricks. It was fun trying to get Bella to jump in but she wouldn't do it. We spent the last day in Austin in the pool and it was one of my favorite days.

Bungee Jumping Video

One day we went to the mall to see a movie and they had these bungee jumping things for kids to do. I actually did it. It was fun but it was sort of scary. This is a video of me jumping.

Butterfly Haus Video

Nana took me to the Butterfly Haus at Wildseed Farms in Fredericksburg one day. There were so many beautiful butterflies there. This is a video of me talking about the butterflies and giving you a tour. It was a magical place!

The Last Day

Today we went swimming for most of the day. Nana bought me a new bathing suit. It's a mix of colors. In the pool we played catch the ball. You count to three and someone throws the ball in the air and you catch it in the air and take it underwater. Jamie's friend Melanie came over and loved Savannah. We went to Chuy's for dinner. It filled me up. Then we went to a snow cone place called Sno Beach. I got Tigers Blood. It was good. Then we came home and I found out I got a new puppy!! It was so exciting. That's all I have to write about today. It was fun writing on this trip.

More About Sunday

Today I went to Jamie's church. It was fun. It was the best I have ever been to. We went to a restaurant called Moonshine. I ate too much and got sick. But after all it was great. After that we went back to Jamie's apartment and got ready and went to go dog sit. The house we are staying at is so pretty. They have a cute dog Savannah. She is sooooooooo cute. We also went swimming. They have a nice pool. Then we went to Yogurt Planet. It was really good too. That's all I have to write about today.

House and Dog Sitting

Jamie is house sitting and dog sitting for the next week. This afternoon we left her apartment and moved to the house. We will be staying here until we leave to fly back home. It is a fancy house with a pool and a cute dog named Savannah.

Mighty Fine

For dinner we went to Mighty Fine. Me and Nana had a bet that I would or would not say "I'm mighty fine" when the girl asked me how I was. I did so she gave me $1.00. They had a cool hand washer that washed your hands for you. It was like a jacuzzi for your hands.

Boat Cruise

It was 500 degrees this Saturday afternoon (at least it felt that way). We took a boat cruise on Ladybird Lake. We saw more turtles and some fish. We also saw a snapping turtle. There were at least 100 kayakers, canoers and paddle boarders. There were three girls at the top of the bridge who jumped in to swim. Nana's hair got caught in her fan like mine did. We also saw a building called Frost Bank which was made to look like an owl from a certain angle. Even though it was so hot we still had a lot of fun.

Saturday Morning at the Mall

Last night I slept with Bella and Jamie. And Jamie says I hogged the bed. Bella woke me up as always. We went to see the movie "Despicable Me". I think my favorite part was when the Minions saved Gru and Margo. At the mall I went bungee jumping. It was fun. We had also gone to to the Texas Store. I got a Austin pen, Texas mints, a T-shirt, and a snow globe. Then we went to get lunch at a Chinese place. They had good food. This is all I did this morning.

Swimming, Snow Cones and Annie

"Annie" was a good play. We left at intermission but I will tell you what happened before Annie started. Aunt Jamie took me swimming at the Barton Creek Greenbelt. There were a lot of dogs there. The current was strong. I was so afraid that there was a water snake but there was not. It was my "animal". We left and got a pink bubble gum snow cone. It was SO good. Then we went to get a spot for the show and when we got there Jamie had lost her iPhone. We ran to the concession stand and asked if they had seen a phone. They said no and Jamie remembered where she had put it. She was SO relieved. The night had not been ruined after all. We had a fun time.

The Butterfly Haus and Fredericksburg

Today the first thing I did was wake up with Bella pounding on me. We got on the road and about 30 minutes down the road the passenger side seatbelt alarm went off. Nana’s purse was the only thing sitting in that seat! Are purses really people? We went to a butterfly haus in Fredericksburg, TX. While we were there I taught 3 butterflies how to fly!! I bought chocolate covered sunflower seeds. I hope they are worth my $4.00. Nana bought chocolate caramel chewy fudge. It was so delicious. We saw a cute lizard while we were there too. Then we left and went to go eat. We found a restaurant and I got a reuben sandwich. It was very tasty. When I was almost done I got a call from Mom saying my teacher was Mrs. Roberts for this coming up year. She is a MEAN teacher. We left and went to go get fudge. We went with mochaccino. We went to another store to get something for Jasmine and Christopher. We saw color changing t-shirts but they were too expensive. Then we went to go to a Dime Store. I got Christopher a pirate ship pencil sharpener. Then we went to a General Store and I got Jasmine a Texas Lucky Penny. We left and we were on the road and saw a camel farm! I saw seven camels! They were cool. Then we went to get peaches. They were good. That’s all I have to write for today but I will write tomorrow. Tonight we are going swimming then to see an outdoor play of Annie.

Kayaking and Pedicures

I woke up this morning and Bella only pounded me one time. Then we went to the dog park. There were two dogs named Onyx and Pixie. Bella and Onyx played for a while. Pixie was a fierce little Yorkie. Onyx was a jumper. He was a lack lab. After that we got on our clothes and hit the road. We were going kayaking. The water was very cold and murky. We went kayaking on Ladybird Lake. We saw 30-40 dragonfly’s and 65 turtles! When we were coming back to leave we saw people paddle boarding and two beautiful swans. As we left a TV show called “My Generation” was being filmed and Nana was in a scene. Then we ate at a restaurant called Jack Allen’s Kitchen. After that we went to go get pedicures. It was my first ever pedicure. The next thing we did was going swimming. We stayed there about one hour and 20 minutes. We read the Dangerous Book for Dogs. It was funny. Then we had pizza for dinner. I’ll write tomorrow.
